What is this blog about?
It’s about marriage, if by marriage you mean introducing The Husband Dude as “my first and second husband”.
It’s about mommy advice, if by mommy advice you mean telling our adult daughter to take a bottle of wine, some snacks and her phone in the bathroom for a little “me” time. Don’t forget the phone charger!
It’s about grandma things, if by grandma things you mean not finishing the newborn baby booties I was crocheting for the toddler who is now 4 and buying her a pair of baby Uggs instead, even though I’m too cheap to own a pair myself.
It’s about fashion, if by fashion you mean pairing my favorite KISS T-shirt with sparkly flip flops and a sock monkey hat.
It’s about crafting, if by crafting you mean re-pinning a thousand project ideas on Pinterest but never actually making anything because I’m too busy binge watching Netflix.
It’s about couponing, if by couponing you mean asking the store clerk to throw away the “$0.50 off” that fell out of the Claritin box that I stuck in my wallet and just now found. It expired in 2015.
It’s about cooking, if by cooking you mean clipping recipes and stuffing them in my Mom’s old Better Homes and Gardens Cookbook, never to see the light of day again because I have the same five slow cooker recipes in heavy rotation.
This blog is about a lot of things, but mostly just life as seen through the weird filter in my brain. It’s mostly a humor blog but I do throw some serious in as well.
